I’m Tracey — founder of The Sustainable Host, sustainability educator, tiny home trailblazer, regional changemaker… and crazy dog mum.
From living off-grid in a bus with my three kids to building tiny homes that support farm incomes, my journey has never followed the conventional path. I’ve sold everything, left corporate life behind, and built a business (and a lifestyle) around the belief that less can truly mean more — more freedom, more joy, more impact.
As President of the Blackwood Chamber of Commerce and Chair of several companies and organisations, I advocate for a future where rural communities thrive, sustainable tourism flourishes, and every individual has the tools to live meaningfully and mindfully.
Through The Sustainable Host, I combine my love of design, education, and sustainability to help others build lives and businesses that are lighter on the planet but richer in purpose.
If you’re ready to break free from “normal,” explore the tiny life, or build something bold — welcome. You’re in the right place.
At the heart of everything I do is one guiding belief:
Sustainability starts with self-care.
Whether you’re dreaming of financial freedom through tiny living, building an off-grid retreat, or transforming your business to be future-fit — I’m here to help you do it with intention and impact.
