About the author

Written by someone who’s actually done it. Many times over.

Tracey Hodgkins designs and project-manages tiny homes for other people, manages short-term rentals, and builds regenerative tourism models from her base in the Blackwood Valley, Western Australia. She’s been at this longer than the tiny movement has had a name — it started with three years in a converted bus with three kids and a rock band in the early ’80s. The Sustainable Host is the business she built on everything she learned the hard way.
